Following Jesus In Revolutionary Love // Part 3 // Loving Others: Grieve

“Grief is the price of love” - Valarie Kaur, See No Stranger. As our summer worship series on Revolutionary Love explored the sorrow of loss that inevitably comes with loving others, our Sunday morning service visited the memorial garden grounds at Prairie View Chapel just south of Saskatoon. Our worship invited us to enter into grief--our own, that of our church community, and that of the larger world. Beyond our usual collective worship, we also spent time in self-guided reflection through the prayer labyrinth, wall of memories, and meditative walking path in this sacred space. We can't replicate much of that online, but hopefully the written version of our worship materials will give you a window into the experience.

Many thanks to the folks at Prairie View Chapel and Crematorium for allowing us to enjoy their space for our worship service, and for making this lovely area available to the public anytime!
