Participation is a high value at Wildwood, both an expectation and a joy (most of the time).  We believe that there is a place for everyone to share their gifts with the church and we try to match those gifts with the work that needs to be done to keep us healthy and helpful as an organization and a community.  Some of the places that WMCers contribute:

Hands-on – Service through building maintenance, coordinating the church library, helping in the kitchen for potlucks or WMC Community Kitchen events, lending a hand with the “WMC Moving Crew”...

In leadership – Serving by leading on the church council, coordinating church finances and missions, organizing small groups for fellowship and study...

In worship – Planning, sharing musical and artistic gifts, speaking, sharing thoughts and prayers, adding your voice to the worship conversation...

Teaching - Children, youth, and adult Sunday School, small groups, special events...

Youth – Walking with teens as mentors, event sponsors, and study leaders...

Caring – Coordinating or sharing rides and meals and prayers, formal and informal visitation and spiritual care,

Working beyond the church – joining in with the work of God’s Kingdom as individuals and through agencies and projects building up people and communities, doing justice, loving mercy, and walking with God wherever God is found.

If some area on this list jumps out as a way you’d like to contribute, or if you have your own ideas of what you could offer, talk to one of the pastors or contact the church office.
