Hosanna is an ancient cry, both a call for God's help and a recognition of that help in progress. When Jesus was greeted by exuberant "Hosannas" as he rode into Jerusalem, what expectations did the shouters--and those disturbed by the shouting--have in mind? What about us, in what and whom do we put our trust for help with the worries of our lives? And what can we learn from the path of hope that Jesus offered to his followers?
