In 1 Cor 1:18-25 (and beyond), Paul writes about the difference between the wisdom of God and the wisdom of the world.  He says that the message of the Cross looks like foolishness by some standards and that God intentionally chose a path that looks like weakness.  And yet "God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom and God's weakness is stronger than human strength."  What does it mean to choose God's "foolishness" instead of worldly wisdom?  And what might that look like in action?

Read "Wise As Fools" from Joe Heikman (a natural choice to talk on the subject of foolishness...)
