Wildwood Mennonite Church:
Bringing out the best in each other and our world by
preparing space to listen and speak
practicing to lead and serve
providing support for rest, renewal and growth
and provoking one another to love and good deeds
as we walk together in the way of Jesus.
Genuine. Creative. Faithful. Caring. Open. Practical. Inclusive. Fun. Generous. These are some of the words that describe our church at its best. We are a community of followers of Jesus Christ, open to all who wish to join us in the journey of faith. At Wildwood, we find joy in engaging, participatory worship, in collective leadership and responsibility, in active and practical service to each other and our community, and most of all in sharing life together as a community of faith.
As active partners in Mennonite Church Saskatchewan and Mennonite Church Canada, we share in a common vision for God’s church locally and globally:
God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ
and, by the power of the Holy Spirit
to grow as communities of grace, joy and peace
so that God’s healing and hope
flow through us to the world.
Most of us identify ourselves as Anabaptists, though we make space for people with many different theological perspectives. Our common beliefs are expressed in the Mennonite Confession of Faith.
